Yoga Nidra is a practice of deep relaxation or yogic sleep. It is known for it’s restorative, stress reducing benefits! It has been shown to help with conditions such as hypertention and high blood pressure, and it also promotes healing. Along with all of these benefits the practice allows the mind to rest and become clear which paves the way for setting new intentions.
September is a time of transition. As we move from the more relaxed and warm day’s of summer into the beginning of the school year and the oncoming of fall we all feel the unsteadiness of transition. For some it is subtle and for others this is a big wave of change. Where ever you fall along that spectrum it is useful to be clear about what you need during this time. During this workshop you will be guided through a practice that will allow you to do just that and you will set your intention for the month or months ahead.
